Im 18, Male, And my house is really fucced up. My father left the house, and he's never coming back, so he's done!
next, im here alone, i dont have anybody to guide me in any way. I need guidance seriously, and so my mom asked me if i wanted to move to Pakistan to stay at my grandmas house. They are the most loving people in my family and they are saying they'll take care of me. thats cool i guess. They r religious and they r really friendly.
My mom said she'll pay for my private tutor and school and clothes and pretty much everything! But i'm kind of worried about missing family and being around different ppl for a long time. Im nervous i guess! Also, i heard the studying there is harder than here. Meaning the kids are more advanced than the typical american. So im really worried to give my final word to my mom. Somenone please giv me some advice. Thank You

I'm going to a wedding and am having no luck finding something modest and nice within budget. It's a separated wedding and we don't wear salwar kameez or that stuff in my culture but I was thinking of buying a saree and having it sewn as a 2 piece dress.

Would it work? Any other ideas?

I have got a job Finance Co. My colleagues are good there are number of male and female counterparts, they are very helpful, but during the lunh time my female colleagues shares non veg jokes with each other and they even share their bedroom experience. Which I feel very uncomfortable. One day one of my female colleague telling me to wear saree below navel below 4" so that I can get more attention and my work will be done easily. One day I tried it and went to the office in that way. All of my female colleagues appreciate me and suddenly one of them remove my pallu and show my navel every one present in that room. In the movie Slumdog Millionaire, there is a lot of yellow. Specifically, it is worn by Latika in the scenes where she is with Jamal. I noticed it a lot at least, but I haven't seen the movie in a little. And the screen is tinted yellow when he has flashbacks of her. Then in the credits, where everyone is dancing, there is a lot of yellow being waved around and worn throughout the whole thing. Is this a significant color in Indian culture?

I am studying abroad in India this coming Spring, and I would really prefer it if I didn't look like a tourist so that I can blend in and really experience the culture.
