If in any International beauty pageants as Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, etc...we can see the native beauties from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, etc...wear bikinies or modern clothes as secularists???
I have some Indian clothing and was trying to find a dry-cleaning place that knew how to clean them. The only place that I found told me that they were unable to dry-clean clothing with plastic beading, and would only do it if there was glass beading (which nobody does anymore because glass beading is so heavy).
Is this true? If that's the case, is there anyone who knows a better way to clean salwar kameez or churidar?
I find myself travelling to India and when dealing with the locals in Chennai and when I ask questions people just look at me and bobb their heads. Aside from the fact that they might not understand me; could there be another meaning? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'll be in Aligarh on the 21st and Mumbai on the 27th. I've heard that it gets very hot in India, but that women shouldn't wear typical Western hot-weather clothing (shorts, short skirts, tanks, halters, tubes, etc. are considered offensive). I was thinking of packing colorful linen pants, maybe some pretty cotton/ linen tunics and maybe a maxi dress (worn with a shrug or blouse over it)?? I'll be wearing a saree to the wedding, of course, but does anyone have any suggestions for during the day? Thanks a lot!
ok im in the 6th grade looking for pics of..well you know.^(above)so please tell me some sites.thank you.
So I'm Pakistani, Well I was born there. And my parents were born there,
but we are mixed with turkish and chinese/mongolian ancestry.
I often try not telling people that I am pakistani, and you see how I tried to make myself not seem that much because I mentioned my other ancestry.
When people ask me what my ethnicity is and I say Pakistani. They say "eew" sometimes they even call me "Jihad"
But I don't really look Pakistani, Many of the time people are suprised when I say it.. They normally think I'm Middle Eastern and half Asian.
I want to be proud of being pakistani, but its hard when Media makes us look so bad. By calling us terrorist and just the typical image of a Pakistani.
Most ppl think of Osama Bin Ladin, or Taliban or Muslim Fanatics. The typical image of pakistanis are brown, smelly, terrorists. When its not like that at all. Pakistan is a very diverse place. There are fair looking people with blue eyes and blonde hair, to Punjab indian looking with darker skin, to more Chinese looking people. Most Pakistanis aren't terrorists or hate western lifestyle. In Pakistan they are wearing more westernized clothing.
So can you help me? I just feel ashamed when I say I'm Pakistani, because people think I'm a terrorist, and just how media has made us look so bad.
danyavaad!:)
Fighting the likes of Taliban is fine but they have used a sledge hammer to kill a fly.
No other country has used such heavy artillery, tanks, gun ships and air force on its own people and soil!
The same army makes cosmetic protests against US Drons which by comparison are far more surgical and cause far less innocent loss of lives and limbs.
The truth is the Pak army never had the stomach for hand to hand fighting the Taliban and has without shame just bulldozed the countryside and are now bragging how they are winning this conflict.
What is going to happen to millions made home less living in tents?
How long will they live there and where is the money to feed and clothe them? Beg as usual from the west and bad mouth them at the same time?
Imran Khan has been crying horse to stop the use of such over whelming force.
Do the Khakis really care?
Truth seeker
I have no sympathy for the Taliban either.
I am simply Questioning the over whelming use of force which has ruined 70 % of the allready poor economy in these regions.
What is happening is Pak army is slaughtering the very nation it is suppossed to guard and defend !
carnage
you know more than all the documenatries we see on tv'
All those thousands displaced did not like the Taliban either, but they sure as hell hate the Pak army for making them home less and with no income either.
They are going to sympathise with the Taliban as a lesser of the 2 evils.
I need to know:
The food they eat, what sports they play, what fashion they display, and their music that they listen to.
I also have to do a project, but I dunno what to do.
(Poster, paintings, sculpture, etc.)
Help would be much appreciated.

That if people want to move to a different country they should live by the rules and regulations of the country they move to?
For example:
If someone from the UK goes to live in Pakistan they should wear the appropriate clothing that is native to the country and vice versa?
Personally I think that if I were to go to a foreign land I should make every effort to "fit in" with their culture and likewise with persons coming into our country!
PLEASE NOT I AM NOT BEING RACIST - JUST INTERESTED IN DIFFERENT CULTURES AND POINTS OF VIEW.
