i've been browsing online for indian saree fabrics..the once i saw come with blouse. i just want the material to sew something different..im not indian but i jst love the designs,the colours and all..pls help.

mine has blue and white stripes, and the stripes are much narrower and closer. there's no pallu design. it's just blue/white stripes all the way. what type of blouse design will be suitable?

I'll be in Aligarh on the 21st and Mumbai on the 27th. I've heard that it gets very hot in India, but that women shouldn't wear typical Western hot-weather clothing (shorts, short skirts, tanks, halters, tubes, etc. are considered offensive). I was thinking of packing colorful linen pants, maybe some pretty cotton/ linen tunics and maybe a maxi dress (worn with a shrug or blouse over it)?? I'll be wearing a saree to the wedding, of course, but does anyone have any suggestions for during the day? Thanks a lot!

I really like the style of sari that has the short little blouse on top (exposing the abdomen from below the bustline to just above the waist). What is this style called? I am a young woman, and I want my saree to look sleek and sexy.

More generally-- Is there anything I should make sure the saree has, or does not have? I am referring to certain fabrics, cuts, built-in belts, accessories, etc., that I should ask for in order to get a beautiful, well-fitting, quality dress. I have a friend who said that I should ask to have a belt included, and that Bernarsi fabric is best. What do you think??

Also, any information on proper pricing (and the cost of shipping such an item to the US) that you happen to have off the top of your head would be much appreciated.

Even my bra hooks and the colour of my bra will be exposed! I always feel a bit shy!

I am going to get married very soon. I like to see girls and women wearing saree below navel, especially with short blouse, with low cut in the front and back. It really turns me on.
My question is, how can I ask my wife to wear saree well below her navel.? (Of course only for my viewing only!!!) Do women like to wear saree like that? How can I ask her, without hurting her feelings and Do I have the right/permission to ask her to do so? Please help me...

I recently bought a beautiful saree from and now I need to get a blouse stitched for it. I wanted something fancy so the tailor told me I should get it done in a new style. The pattern at the back will form a V and its ends will be left free so I will have to tie a knot at the back. Front will be U neck. Has anyone of you ever made such a blouse?

my wife is working in a multinational group .she say,s after i come back from office i change my dress & wear her dress when i am in home wear regularly suit salwar, bra , blouse, petty coat , saree , bindi, lipistick , bangles, ear ring ,nose stud wear & work with home like dineer,washing cloths & dusting etc.

i tell my wife if any persons come in our home then . no problem some time i wear your man cloths. but problem is my her not she wear i am not wear . she is not aggry with my points.
she say,s if you not wear my dresses in home i am not with you.
i wear her dress 1 weak but one day my friend come in & i go down the bed when he is not out . after my friend going i suggest this is not possible then she say wh. happend.
but she is not compromise ?

I work as a HR in a Company. I wanted to enter as Airhosts.. But when contacted they asked me to come in unsual dress (Like mini shots, Low hip sarees with folds visible, and light tshirts etc..)
When iwent they rejected me pointing some of the portions on my body (Like hip folds 3 not allowed..) what is this am i going to a fashion program. Please advice on this what should i do... Infact i

Mine is 34d but when i wear that the cups are not big to accomodate full. When trying the next size the bra gets loose. Any specific company which has the cup size bigger than normal with the same size. Reason behind is when i wear saree the half of the **** is visible through blouse. What to do please advice.
