I have oily skin though now that it is very dry winter,my skin often feels very much parched after washing it with a face wash( i use tea tree face wash from oriflame) or after applying a face pack(neem-tulsi herbal one).I am 22 and am neither fair, nor dark.Typical Indian skin tone..may be a bit light. It's my cousin sister's wedding in 10days' time.I will be wearing a maroon gold sequin saree.I have short hair and i am slightly on the heavier side. How should I do the make-up?Please someone guide me on the make-up.My eyes and lips are my best features.I would love to highlight them.ALso my facial features are sharp.I have a pimple prone skin.Just got a facial done yesterday. Please someone give me tips for make up.thanks in advance!
in a picture say, what saree would look better? gold has a kinda contrast with red and looks better is my opinion but silver has its own splendour, yet what looks better silver or gold.... note the wearer is VERY tan and asian
Well, I'm having a fall-colored theme wedding, and this will be my wedding dress:

Beautiful and affordable, i know
So I have a lot of wedding colors: brown, maroon, mustard yellow, rust orange, and olive green, as well as gold. Yes, I know a ton of colors, but they all go together well.
I'm having trouble with my attendant dresses (we're not having a wedding party). The two friends that are my attendants want to wear sarees and their pretty caucasian. I'm letting them choose their sarees as long as it's the same color and of course not more dressy than mine, considering mine is pretty simple. They definitely don't want to do mustard yellow or rust orange. One of them definitely doesn't want to do brown.
Would them wearing a solid maroon saree like this: http://utsavsarees.com/pages/saree-large.asp?ICode=SLSMG1111 work fine or would it match my dress too much?
I thought of olive green, like this:

But I started thinking it looked christmas-y
Any suggestions? Would maroon or green work better?
not their...they're....sorry, I hate it when I mess up on grammar
These aren't the absolute dresses they'll choose from. Just to give an idea of what they'll sort of look like color-wise. I'm letting them choose whatever style they want, as long as it's matching colors.
I would rather have them matching colors because it would give a better contrast.

can a gold nethichuti and white metal tiara be worn together?
I am getting married in the mangalorean south indian way. Is it ok to wear pearl necklaces, earrings and mangtika..with orange and bright pink kanjivaram sarees. Or is it necessary to wear gold.
I'll work it out how to take photos and upload it c',
But, it's red.. chilli red.. with some gold thingy thingy on each end. I'm worried that if I cut it up and make it into a formal dress, I might ruin its "value".
I'm thinking about a "flowing" formal dress, actually.
Here's the photo of the saree. I hope I'm doing it right... c',
