Sometimes I see indian women in traditional clothes shopping in the mall with their families...I would really like to buy and wear salwar kameez but I feel like indian people would think I am strange for wearing it, because I am not indian....

Indian women where american clothing? My boyfriend is Indian and I am white, i always wear indian clothings and i love it, but many people give me stares and make comments.

I let a friend use my pc and since then I've been seeing ads for indian women's saree's at the top of the page when I compose Yahoo email, on the left side of the page when I read Yahoo news, etc... It's driving me NUTS! I'm sick n tired of seeing the bare bellied women!

I've cleared cookies, deleted history, ran the cr*p cleaner software. Nothing is getting rid of the bare bellied beauty.

I've even tried going to dubai based sites and other arab sites because I remember a while ago I was getting ads for Etihad Airways which apparently had something to do with me looking at arab type sites.

Btw, yes my friend is of south asia indian origin and no I'm not based in India nor do I use Yahoo India when I see the web ad that's driving me nuts!

How can I get it to stop?! I need to wipe something clean, but what? Like I said I've tried quite a few things already. boo hoo!
ok so now I'm getting an ad "Dubai airfare" from a site called airfare.travelsearch.com , no problem I guess. But this is only on the Yahoo answer pages. I'm still gettin the gal in the purple saree on other yahoo pages even when I've refreshed page
btw, I already changed my yahoo preferences to various different locations...Singapore, China, etc... no luck.

I am an Englishman and I often wear sarees, salwar kameez and lenghas at home. I have a large collection of dresses, but mainly sarees along with blouses and petticoats.
I find sarees very comfortable to wear, no matter how warm or cold it is and no matter the type of cloth it is made of, chiffon, silk etc. I normally have the pallu pinned to my left shoulder, but sometimes let it slip off instead. I love the way the pleats are kicked out in front of me when I walk and the way it covers my whole body, very sensual to wear. I do not wear bra under blouse and also no undergarments are worn under petticoat. I have been wearing sarees now for number of years, do not understand why I read that Indian women find them uncomfortable to wear even on a daily basis, I certainly don't feel that way when I am wearing a saree.
