I think you should ask yourself if Islam is right or wrong, fake.

I have a post on my blog that reflects my point of view.
So here is my answer and please I would like you to share yours.
Do you agree? Are you going to be fair while thinking and reading about Islam?!!!
My own answer to the question.
Why must I be a Muslim? is

A: Why must I be a Muslim? The logical answer is:
B: Why you must not be a Muslim !!!!!!!!

So, it is 'who I am and why I live' the same as William Shakespeare's Hamlet thought, "To be or not to be, that is the question ". It is a matter of searching for the pure and needed Truth. There are no two identical objects even if they are twins. As a result, if there are two or more religions, either one of them or none is true. Do I embrace the real one or mine is fake?!!!

Do not allow others affect you to attack or advocates any religion since it is your own benefit or detriment: paradise or hell. To get to the shore safely, you should use your own brain. Do not form your attitude upon the words of these people who are for or those who are against one religion. Yet, you have to choose the people who are famous for being fair to read for or listen to. Also, think why great thinkers and scientists etc … of all nationalities embrace Islam nowadays in spite of the big efforts exerted to attack that religion.
As it is motioned in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam , "the word Islam is a verbal noun originating from the trilateral root s-l-m, and is derived from the Arabic verb Aslama, which means "to accept, surrender or submit." Thus, Islam means acceptance of and submission to God*, and believers must demonstrate this by worshipping him, following his commands, and avoiding polytheism."
*Allah

NOTE:- Listen to the Qura'n and think of what you will feel. DO THE WORDS HAVE SUCH A POWER ON THE ISNIDE OF A HUMAN WHAT ABOUT ITS POWER ON NONHUMAN?!!!

So I'm Pakistani, Well I was born there. And my parents were born there,
but we are mixed with turkish and chinese/mongolian ancestry.

I often try not telling people that I am pakistani, and you see how I tried to make myself not seem that much because I mentioned my other ancestry.

When people ask me what my ethnicity is and I say Pakistani. They say "eew" sometimes they even call me "Jihad"

But I don't really look Pakistani, Many of the time people are suprised when I say it.. They normally think I'm Middle Eastern and half Asian.

I want to be proud of being pakistani, but its hard when Media makes us look so bad. By calling us terrorist and just the typical image of a Pakistani.

Most ppl think of Osama Bin Ladin, or Taliban or Muslim Fanatics. The typical image of pakistanis are brown, smelly, terrorists. When its not like that at all. Pakistan is a very diverse place. There are fair looking people with blue eyes and blonde hair, to Punjab indian looking with darker skin, to more Chinese looking people. Most Pakistanis aren't terrorists or hate western lifestyle. In Pakistan they are wearing more westernized clothing.

So can you help me? I just feel ashamed when I say I'm Pakistani, because people think I'm a terrorist, and just how media has made us look so bad.

who wears turbuns on thier head... i believe they wear turbuns to cover thier long hair. but why do they have to use a turbun wy cant they do gotti or leave thier hair open. dont you think weaing a turbun in american public and walking on the street can lead them into racism situation. they should change thier way of wearing clothes and thier way of living the life if they wanna convert themselves into modern society of america's. why do they remains typical for life even though they are no longer living in INDIA or PAKISTAN. i have seen many muslim gals covering thier head with scarf and some cover thier whole body under a thing called (burkha) i agree that they do follow thier religion and culture but staying in a country like AMERICA they should not confront in public as a typical human being. i am not making a fun of anyones culture or religion. but its a 21st century and they should learn the way of modern living. no offense to any muslim or indian being.

I am Muslim and I am proud to be Muslim but i have realized that although im the one living in america and i am 100% american(my clothes, friends, things i do, way i act) I am more decent and more religious then my family in pakistan! and also the Pakistan government is horrible, and yea we had nothing to do with 9/11, but theres a lot of stupid muslims who do stupid things like suicide bombers. I dont know why so many get mad when the media talks bad about pakistan, thats the way they make it seem. Islam is a beautiful thing but i dont consider pakistan to be beautiful anymore.

Assalamu alaikum wa ramathullahi wa baraktuh to everyone ^^

I am looking for regular/casual Afghani or Pakistani male Muslim wear.

I have been looking for some, but I can't find one that is not branded. I'm just looking for a simple one, I don't need an expensive one that's like 0.00 with lots of design and stuff on it, because I am only using it to daily wear (not to a party or special occasions). And wear it to go to Masjid and stuff..

I don't mind what brand it is actually, I just want something simple. Like plain blue, brown, black, grey, white, etc. Nothing with fancy design or expensive silk and cotton on it, none of that stuff.

I want to dress moderatley like the way Prophet Muhammad (SAW) dressed. Nothing expensive nothing fancy, just simple.

I want either Afghani or Pakistani casual wear. My friends have it, they are very nice and simple. I want one of those :), but sadly they got theirs from friends who came back from Afghanistan and Pakistan, so I don't know where else to get them but online..

Indian clothing is okay too, because I think they have similar clothing to Pakastani and Afghani (sorry if i am wrong).

I am a guy and I am 5'5..

Thank you for those who answered imformly and those that helped :D

Salam ^^
Oh, it can be Afghani or Pakistani style, it doesn't need to be from Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Is what I meant.

Something like that yes :D

@ GTR, also thank you for giving me the name of the style ^^

What would you say if I told you that this American woman who is a Muslim of 6 years took a visit to one of the most controversial areas of Pakistan and survived? Of course, I didn't know that it was bad at that time otherwise I would have been just as much a chicken as anyone else. From what I saw in Quetta, it's getting worse. It's not safe even for Pakistanis to travel through, as the night before I left an American and Punjabis were shot. Another Punjabi was shot and there were protests and rallies. The Pakistani army is definately fighting them and you can hear the exchange of gunfire at night. The other Pakistanis know that this is not Islam, but they also know that if they were to put themselves out there, it would do no good. I did do a lot of shopping and I did go to both the bazaars and the secured military protected market. Nothing happened in either place, except my husband buying me enough clothing to last a few years. What's your opinion?

By any yard stick a women wearing a Saree with a Bindi on her face looks beautiful, decent and even sexy too. But in the entire USA not even a single Indian woman wears a Saree to work or any where else. They wear only pants and trousers. They don't know in such dresses every single Indian woman whether she is a Hindu, Muslim or Christian look horrible and disgusting. It is an admitted fact the every single American Woman loves Indian clothes because of their vivid colors, designs and patterns. But they don't know how and where to buy them in the first place and also don't know how to wear them. If the women from South Asia especially from India start wearing Sarees and other Indian dresses to their work and when going out trust me you will see even hollywood celebrities in Sarees. But the zillion dollar question is who is going to educate our women? I am unsuccessful in convincing even my wife also in this aspect.
