I'm living in India at the moment, and I can't find any clothes that I like. I've searched and searched, even on the internet to find something that I can wear because I thought it might be fun to try wearing them while I'm here.
But I can't find ANYTHING that suits my taste; everything is either in a really bright colour, or covered in golden things, or has some other weirdness about it.
Can someone please help me find something that I might like? I like darker colours, or white, and perhaps something a little more subtle and toned down, and something that fits nicely.
I'm in Chennai, if that helps.
Oh, but I do have to wear their clothes........there is basically nothing else here in India they don't wear western clothes that often, and what they do sell here is absolutely hideous.
This is the only reason I'm asking!!
How do you know which saree is made well?
What is the best material for them? Silk?
I am going to a wedding and everyone is wearing sarees and some are wearing kameez suits.

i hav to attend my friend's sis's engangement this next weekend..and i was wondering wt to wear.i really don't wear any suits..and the only one i ahve isnt really very nice.i was wondering if i can wear a kurti.i have one in bridal maroon..with heavy work on neck.if i do that,,suggest wt i should pair it up with?pants?jeans?wt colour?and also suggest the type of accessorites i should wear.pleeeeeeease help.thnks

Best Wedding Shopping Place: Hyderbad or Dehli? I need to get a bridal dress as well as for the groom (sherwani) and a reception bridal dress. Also, I want to buy more clothes such as sarees, shalwar kameez, choori-daar, patyala, straight shalwar and anarkali styles suits. Hye All, I am a boy and i want to be a girl as I think i am a girl in a boys body. I love to wear all kind of girlish clothes like skirts, sarees, lehangas, cholis, salwar kamiz, pajami suits, and even i wear all girlish when i am alone at home. I do look like a girl wearing the same and I love to apply lipstick, nail polish, and all make up. I wear jhanjars , bangles of my mom, sister when i am alone. I have a wish in my own to roam like a girl like other girl in the city wearing girlish stuff . How should i move ahead? I need your replies at the earliest.
